Job summary

Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is seeking a Transportation Area Manager to lead a warehouse operations team responsible for Sortation and Dock Management in a high-volume facility. You’ll drive on-time shipping, staff development, and process improvements to meet performance goals.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in automated sortation or WMS environments, prior leadership, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years' experience with automated sortation systems, WMS or dock management in a high-volume facility.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping department operations and outcomes.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops leaders to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency measures.
• Utilize workload planning tools to ensure orders are fulfilled to standard.
