Job summary

Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is expanding its Atlanta operations and seeking a Parcel Area Manager to lead a warehouse team, optimize sortation and dock processes, and drive efficient, accurate order fulfillment. You will partner with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to meet daily targets and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have proven leadership in high-volume facilities, experience with WMS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two to four years' experience with automated sortation systems or WMS in high-volume facilities.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• Ability to manage carriers and drivers daily.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping department.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops leaders to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Use workload planning tools to ensure orders are fulfilled.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Perform to quality standards in multiple functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
