Job summary

Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is seeking a Transportation Area Manager to lead a warehouse team and own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping operations. You will partner with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops Leaders to drive results and ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.

Requirements include 2–4 years with automated sortation systems or WMS, prior leadership, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong communication, time management, and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience with automated sortation systems, WMS, or Dock Management in a high-volume facility.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading teams and driving results.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to manage carriers and drivers on a daily basis and coordinate with support teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a warehouse team to meet daily goals.
• Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping operations.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops Leaders to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency measures.
• Utilize workload planning tools to ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances; maintain quality across functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
