Job summary

Stord Fulfillment, LLC, based in Kentucky, is seeking a Transportation Area Manager to lead a warehouse team, drive daily goals, and own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping operations in a high-volume facility. You will collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops leaders to resolve issues, implement efficiency improvements, and ensure orders are fulfilled to standard.

The role requires flexible hours, occasional overtime, and effective use of order management and material

Qualifications

2–4 years’ experience with automated sortation systems, WMS, and/or Dock Management in high-volume facilities.
Previous leadership experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience; ability to manage carriers and drivers daily.
Strong organizational, time management, and data-entry skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team to deliver on daily goals.
Own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping departments.
Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops leaders to drive results.
Address operational and personnel issues.
Implement process improvements and workload efficiency.
Use workload planning tools to ensure orders meet standards.
Investigate discrepancies and variances.
Maintain quality across functions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
