Job summary

Stord is seeking a Transportation Area Manager to lead a warehouse team and own Sortation, Dock Management, and shipping operations. You will partner with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to drive results in a high-volume fulfillment environment.

The role requires 2-4 years with automated sortation, WMS, strong communication, organization, and ability to handle overtime. Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred; experience with carriers and drivers is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ experience with automated sortation systems and WMS.
• Experience leading warehouse teams in a high-volume facility.
• Ability to manage carriers and drivers daily.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse associates and ops leads to meet daily goals.
• Own sortation, dock management, and shipping Operations.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to drive results.
• Investigate discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Plan workload and ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.
