Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Service Center Supervisor for its transportation team. You will lead drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to execute operational strategies, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction at the service center.

You will collaborate with the Service Center Manager, drive continuous improvement, and mentor staff while ensuring DOT compliance and efficient logistics. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in transportation field with knowledge of DOT regulations and logistics planning
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Experience in hazardous waste industry and RCRA/DOT knowledge preferred
• Experience with integrated fleet/driver/compliance software; Samsara a plus

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop service-center employees with ongoing performance feedback and appraisals
• Assist in recruitment and hiring of transportation staff
• Lead safety trainings, tailgate/gameplan meetings and safety committees
• Maintain customer satisfaction by meeting SLAs and KPIs and addressing service issues
• Provide on-the-job training and regulatory compliance guidance
• Support logistics planning and continuous improvement initiatives
