Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee the Service Center operations, ensuring accurate shipments, proper inventory control, and regulatory compliance. You will lead a team, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in logistics processes.

The role requires strong administrative skills, 2+ years of leadership, and experience with transportation management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, some college or associate’s degree in a related field preferred, or can demonstrate related equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience providing administrative tasks and office management.
• 2+ years of proven leadership experience.
• Experience utilizing transportation management software systems, knowledge of DOT regulations and standards, and understanding of transportation logistics and planning is preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce, Preview, SPAK, and Steriwise, or similar systems is required.
• Experience with CORE and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) is a plus.
• Experience in management of a shipping and receiving department is preferred.
• Experience in hazardous waste management is preferred.
• Understanding of the waste management industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination and support for efficient operations of the Service Center.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving to ensure accuracy and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Manage service center coordination, inventory, and office supplies.
• Coach and develop direct reports with performance feedback and appraisals.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of shipping and receiving staff.
• Conduct daily meetings to communicate issues, changes, and developments.
