Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Service Center Supervisor to lead transportation operations at the Kansas City service center. You’ll coach staff, manage routes, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support customer satisfaction by meeting SLAs.

Responsibilities include training, performance management, payroll oversight, and collaboration with HR and management to optimize service delivery and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation with software use, DOT regs, and logistics knowledge.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Hazardous waste industry knowledge; RCRA and DOT familiarity.
• Experience with integrated fleet/driver/compliance software; Samsara is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop service-center staff; conduct performance appraisals.
• Assist in recruitment and hiring of transportation staff and drivers.
• Lead route management, scheduling, and driver debriefs ensuring DOT compliance.
• Monitor safety, training, and regulatory adherence across the service center.
