Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Director of Sales - Transportation Management in Atlanta to lead regional growth and manage strategic client relationships. The role requires frequent travel and expertise in TL transportation sales, with a focus on developing proposals and presenting solutions to customers.

You will collaborate with operations and pricing teams to optimize deals, manage the sales pipeline, and deliver compelling presentations.

Qualifications

Quota-driven sales mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability and willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the transportation industry, TL experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to articulate value.
Proven experience in prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
Solid knowledge of the transportation marketplace and related pricing.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools; comfortable with proposals and presentations.

Responsibilities

Day to day marketing and prospecting leads.
Develop proposals and build solutions for clients.
Maintain pipeline and update customer contact information daily.
Maintain relationships with existing customers, including on-site visits.
Communicate issues with operations, pricing, accounting and customer service to management.
Prospect and source new opportunities within assigned regions.
Participate in contract and rate schedule development and bid reviews.
Create and deliver high-quality presentations to customers.
Collaborate with peers and management to improve selling techniques.
