Job summary

Krise Transportation in the United States is seeking a Safety Coordinator to develop and implement workforce safety programs, oversee training for CDL-required roles, and manage incident investigations across terminals.

You will coordinate audits, maintain OSHA logs, and work with operations, HR and local agencies to ensure compliance while promoting a culture of safety for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1-3 years of safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, PUC, OSHA, DOL regulations.
• Ability to obtain CDL with P, S and air brake endorsements within 6 months.
• Safety certifications as/when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation for safety-related incidents to home office.
• Assist Terminal Manager with accident/incident files and agendas.
• Schedule random or required drug and alcohol testing and ensure compliance.
• Conduct timely investigations into accidents/incidents and determine root causes.
• Maintain and train for bus evacuation drills and safety programs.
• Monitor vehicle inspections and report violations in writing.
