Job summary

Consor in Atlanta seeks an experienced roadway design focused Project Manager to lead transportation projects, from planning through delivery, and to mentor a team of engineers along the way. You will develop proposals, manage scope, schedule and budgets, and ensure client satisfaction while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, PE licensure, and about 9 years of diversified infrastructure experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain reciprocity.
• At least 9 years of diversified engineering experience in infrastructure with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of proposals on projects with subsequent project management responsibilities.
• Project management for transportation projects including planning studies and design of improvements.
• Plan, organize, and staff key positions; lead teams; manage budgets and schedules; communicate with clients.
• Coordinate and direct multidisciplinary project delivery involving clients, public, subconsultants and agencies.
• Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
• Represent the company in project meetings and manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the client and company.
• Serve as key contact with client’s project manager and director for issues.
• Oversee report writing and production by team members.; mentor junior staff.
• Develop and implement major presentations when acting as project manager.
