Job summary

Consor seeks a Senior Roadway Engineering Project Manager to lead complex roadway improvement projects from concept through construction. You will oversee PS&E development, ensure compliance with design standards, and manage budgets and schedules across multiple teams.

You will provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary groups, coordinate with clients and partners, drive business development, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality transportation outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• PE license (Professional Engineer).
• Experience managing scopes, schedules, budgets and teams on large roadway projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and fee estimates.
• Provide oversight and technical direction for roadway design across delivery phases.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants to deliver PS&E on time.
• Serve as primary client contact and foster strong relationships.
• Drive business development, proposals, and client interviews.
• Oversee project financial performance and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with TxDOT, AASHTO and local standards.
• Mentor junior staff and develop a high-performing team.
