Job summary

Egis in the United States (Florida) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead transportation design projects for FDOT, counties, and municipalities. You will oversee scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, coordinating with engineers and sub-consultants to ensure quality and timeliness.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida Professional Engineer license, a BS in Civil Engineering, and 5+ years of PM experience on transportation projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required and PE license in Florida.
• 5+ years of project management experience on transportation projects.
• Business development and marketing experience in Florida is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation design projects for FDOT, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, counties, and municipalities.
• Develop project design documentation, including typical section packages, reports, and specifications.
• Prepare engineering calculations, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Manage and monitor schedules, budgets, and scope; ensure QA/QC.
• Coordinate with staff, other disciplines, and sub-consultants.
• Plan resources and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Marketing and client development within Florida transportation practice.
