Job summary

Egis is seeking a seasoned Transportation Project Manager to lead design projects for FDOT and regional agencies from our Jacksonville office. You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules, and QA/QC, and collaborate with sub-consultants and clients to deliver high-quality transportation solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Florida Professional Engineer license, 5+ years of PM experience on transportation projects, and a proven ability in business development and client relationship management within

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience on transportation projects. Experience managing FDOT projects is preferred.
• Professional Engineer license in Florida.
• Must have business development and marketing experience in Florida.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and can work independently but also enjoy working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with the FDOT Design Manual (FDM), FDOT Standard Plans, and other roadway/highway design standards.
• Proficient with OpenRoads Designer and FDOT Connect.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation design projects for FDOT, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, counties, and municipalities.
• Prepare project design documentation and cost estimates.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and scope; maintain project documentation.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and coordinate with staff and sub-consultants.
