Job summary

Benesch in Denver, CO is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design roadways, highways, and related infrastructure, producing plans, specs, reports, and cost estimates on projects for State DOTs, local municipalities and private clients.

You will coordinate with hydraulic, traffic, structures and environmental disciplines to deliver turnkey designs and support project managers, with a focus on thorough documentation and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PE license is required.
• CDOT roadway design experience preferred.
• Experience with State DOTs and municipal clients.

Responsibilities

• Design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure quality.
• Assist proposal development and support project managers.
