Job summary

Benesch is hiring a Transportation Project Engineer in Denver to join our multi-disciplinary planning, engineering and professional services team. You will work on infrastructure projects for State DOTs, local municipalities and private clients, providing design support for roadways, driveways, sidewalks, greenways, parks, multimodal improvements, and bridge replacement projects.

The role involves coordinating with hydraulic, traffic, structures, environmental and other disciplines to develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required
• 10+ years of roadway design experience
• PE license required
• CDOT roadway design experience preferred
• Experience with State DOTs, counties, and municipalities

Responsibilities

• Design roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure quality
• Contribute to proposal development
• Assist Project Managers and Design Leaders
• Maintain project documentation
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver quality design
