Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer for our Denver office. You will design roadways and related infrastructure, develop plans and cost estimates, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver turnkey projects for State DOTs, counties, and private clients.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of roadway design experience, and PE certification. Proficiency with Microstation and Inroads is preferred, Open Roads Designer a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of roadway design experience.
• PE is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working on the design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work
• Contribute to proposal development
• Directly assist Project Managers and Design Leaders
• Manage and maintain project documentation
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements and deliver a quality design to the client
