Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer for our Denver office. You will contribute to design on roadways, bridges, and multimodal projects, coordinating with hydraulic, traffic, and environmental teams to deliver turnkey designs for State DOTs, local municipalities, and private clients.

You will work from preliminary to final designs, prepare plans and cost estimates, and support proposal development while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required.
• 10+ years of roadway design experience
• PE is required
• CDOT roadway design experience preferred
• Experience working with clients such as State and County Departments of Transportation, and municipal.
• Proficient at using Microstation and/or Inroads (Open Roads Designer a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Working on the design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work
• Contribute to proposal development
• Directly assist Project Managers and Design Leaders
• Manage and maintain project documentation
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements and deliver a quality design to the client
