Job summary

Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplinary planning, engineering and professional services firm based in Denver. We hire a Transportation Project Engineer to work on infrastructure projects for State DOTs and private clients from our Denver office.

You will design roadways, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and contribute to proposals. A BSCE, 10+ years of roadway design, PE, and Microstation/InRoads experience are required, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required.
• 10+ years of roadway design experience.
• PE is required.
• CDOT roadway design experience preferred.
• Experience working with clients such as State and County Departments of Transportation, and municipal.
• Proficient at using Microstation and/or Inroads (Open Roads Designer a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Working on the design of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Contribute to proposal development.
• Directly assist Project Managers and Design Leaders.
• Manage and maintain project documentation.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to complete project requirements and deliver a quality design to the client.
