Job summary

BKF Engineers is seeking a seasoned civil construction professional to serve as Owner’s representative on bridge, roadway, and related civil projects in California. You will ensure compliance with contract documents, lead project QA/QC, and oversee staff and contract administration.

Ideal candidates bring a PE license in California and 7+ years of roadway/bridge project experience, with strong people leadership and stakeholder coordination across offices and client agencies.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• California registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
• 7+ years of construction contract management experience on roadway/bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s representative on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects.
• Ensure projects are built in accordance with contract documents and QA/QC processes.
• Manage professional and technical staff, and contract administration.
• Review change orders, shop drawings, materials testing and surveying activities.
• Prepare progress and final documentation for compliance with highway agency requirements.
