Egis is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to lead highway improvement projects, interstate capacity efforts, and PD&E tasks. You will drive design quality, coordinate with teams, and contribute to major infrastructure programs.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 8+ years of transportation design experience, a PE license, and ORD proficiency. Mentorship, marketing involvement, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation design and construction plan production.
• Active PE license and ORD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Civil engineering design and analysis on projects for public sector clients.
• Lead design teams and coordinate with junior staff to produce quality designs.
• Develop Preliminary Engineering Reports and PD&E concept plans.
• Assist with marketing pursuits including proposals and presentation development.
• Develop construction documents, estimates, and support construction administration.
• Serve as Task Manager, Assistant PM, or PM with budget and schedule responsibilities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and prime partners.
• Monitor financial progress and scheduling of major infrastructure projects.
