Job summary

Toole Design is seeking an experienced transportation professional to lead integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning at our Minneapolis, MN office. This firmwide leadership role combines practice leadership with active project delivery.

As Practice Lead, you will mentor engineers and planners, shape business development, and steer the firm’s technical direction while staying engaged on major projects that strengthen client relationships and grow the practice.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of success on transportation engineering and multimodal planning projects.
• Proven ability to lead integrated teams and grow a transportation practice.
• PE preferred; PTOE/AICP credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and practice planning to meet growth targets.
• Oversee financial health through project delivery and staffing.
• Mentor engineers and planners and guide recruitment.
• Advance training, innovation, and quality control.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership to set priorities.
