Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Transportation Planning Manager to lead the development and oversight of statewide transportation planning systems, data, and reports. You will guide long-term planning efforts, supervise staff, and coordinate with technical teams to support system enhancements and reporting needs.

The role involves preparing briefings for department leadership, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and coordinating with partners across the Commonwealth.

Qualificações

• One year as a Transportation Planning Specialist Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• One year of experience as a Transportation Planning Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Three years of professional transportation planning, transportation administration, or transportation engineering experience, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, planning, computer science, or geography
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the development and oversight of transportation planning systems, data, and reports that guide statewide programs
• Liaise between planning staff and technical teams to support system enhancements and reporting needs
• Guide staff who develop programs and provide training and support to planning partners
• Oversee the administration and user support of the Multi-modal Project Management System
• Ensure project, financial, and planning data is accurate, current, and compliant with regulations
• Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for department leadership and partners

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, planning, computer science, or geography
