Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President of Transportation – Pennsylvania Lead to drive regional transportation operations from our Harrisburg or Pittsburgh offices.

This role serves as the market leader for Pennsylvania, growing client relationships with PennDOT, PTC, and local agencies while ensuring high-quality project delivery across design and construction services. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, guide strategic growth initiatives, and mentor transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 20+ years of transportation design engineering experience.
• Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC).
• Strong knowledge of LRFD and AASHTO policies and guidelines.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary programs and grow business.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation operations across Pennsylvania, guiding growth and client engagement.
• Oversee design and construction projects including highways, bridges, and traffic systems.
• Manage construction management and inspection teams with coordination to design and construction phases.
• Develop client relationships with PennDOT, PTC, and regional agencies, leading pursuits.
• Mentor transportation professionals and support recruitment and development initiatives.
• Represent PRIME AE in professional organizations and industry networks.
