PRIME AE Group, Inc. in the Harrisburg or Pittsburgh area seeks an Associate Vice President of Transportation – Pennsylvania Lead to guide the statewide transportation practice, driving growth and ensuring delivery excellence in design and construction.

You will lead regional teams, manage PennDOT and PTC programs, strengthen client relationships, mentor professionals, and pursue new market opportunities, with a flexible hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• BSCE required; MS preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 20+ years in transportation design engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects.
• Strong knowledge of LRFD, AASHTO policies and design guidelines.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary transportation programs.
• Familiarity with MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.
• Proven ability to grow business and lead pursuits.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsabilités

• Regional leadership and operations overseeing PA transportation programs.
• Oversee business performance including revenue, backlog, profitability.
• Provide leadership to transportation teams across offices.
• Ensure resources, technology, and staffing for high-quality services.
• Oversee design/construction project deliverables and compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultant performance.
• Lead construction management and inspection teams for PennDOT/PTC programs.
• Develop client relationships with PennDOT, PTC, and regional agencies.
• Identify new market opportunities and pursue marketing efforts.
• Mentor transportation professionals and support recruitment.
• Represent PRIME AE in professional organizations.
