Job summary

Performance Food Group in Temple, TX seeks an experienced Operations Training Supervisor to train, develop and supervise new Operations personnel using classroom and field programs to prepare them for a career in Operations.

You will track individual performance, implement new training programs, and act as an associate advocate to enhance workers’ career experience and retention in Warehouse and Transportation roles.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• Required Experience: 1 - 3 Years in Operations Leadership with training.
• Must possess excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Preferred Education: Bachelors in Business management or Operations.

Responsibilities

• Works with OpCo leadership to address workforce training needs.
• Coordinate training and onboarding with Warehouse and Transportation.
• Provide input into hiring/termination based on performance during training.
• Plan, schedule and facilitate New Hire Training programs.
• Serve as associate advocate during 30/60/90 days to boost satisfaction and productivity.
• Conduct train-the-trainer workshops to enhance trainer bench strength.
• Collaborate with safety on onboarding and ongoing training for safety compliance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
