Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead daily distribution-center transport operations, supervise drivers, and ensure safe, compliant, and on-time deliveries. You will manage staffing, fleet readiness, and performance, while coordinating with departments to meet operational goals.

The role requires FMCSR knowledge, hazardous materials regulation familiarity, and strong leadership skills to drive efficiency and safety across the transportation function.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and FMCSR knowledge.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials regulations and ELDs.
• Strong MS Office skills and routing/delivery scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transportation operations, including routing, departures, and driver execution.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution for on-time delivery.
• Lead transportation team members with coaching and performance management.
• Ensure DOT regulatory compliance and ELD usage across operations.
• Oversee fleet readiness, maintenance, and service schedules to meet standards.
• Track KPIs and drive process improvements for efficiency and safety.
