The GEO Group, Inc. is hiring for a Transportation Supervisor/Manager who will help supervise the facility’s transportation operations and personnel. This role ensures Officers are properly scheduled and vehicles are ready, with duties including coverage during absences and emergency transports.

Responsibilities include training Officers on policies, scheduling, monitoring transport movements, maintaining vehicles, handling incidents, and ensuring DOT compliance and reporting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of transportation experience.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service and vehicle inspections.
• Ability to set standards and procedures for performance and productivity.
• Effective leadership and staff training abilities.
• Ability to write reports, policies, and documentation.
• Proficiency with computers and department software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation operations and personnel.
• Schedule Transportation Officers and monitor duties.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance, repairs, and compliance with company standards.
• Investigate and report accidents involving Transportation Officers.
• Transport detainees during emergencies or officer shortages.
• Maintain DOT files and regulatory knowledge.
• Assist in duties of Transportation Supervisor or Manager when needed.
