GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a Transportation Supervisor responsible for the overall management of detainee transport within the facility. You will coordinate schedules, ensure staffing readiness, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational laws.

Strong leadership and CDL–P endorsement are required to lead a team effectively. The role demands developing training programs, managing the transportation budget, and coordinating with external authorities to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1 year experience in detainee transportation with supervisory experience
• CDL with Passenger endorsement
• DOT drug and alcohol testing compliance

Responsibilities

• Maintain transportation staffing plan per contract guidelines.
• Develop training opportunities to improve staff performance.
• Supervise Transportation Supervisors and Officers; approve schedules and disciplinary actions.
• Enhance staff knowledge by facilitating training and refresher courses.
• Manage transportation budget and coordinate with vehicle contractors for maintenance.
• Ensure vehicle service and inspection records are up to date.
• Coordinate with law enforcement for roadside support and transport operations.
• Document and investigate vehicle incidents and accidents timely.
• Participate in safety committees and regulatory reviews.
• Maintain DOT compliance and regulatory knowledge.
