Job summary

The Operations Support Representative at WEL Companies is responsible for executing and maintaining daily transportation operations across planning, driver support, and customer service. Responsibilities

• Plan and assign freight to drivers in alignment with service requirements.
• Provide clear direction and support to drivers to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time execution.
• Monitor and track shipments and driver performance, including on-time service, ETA/PTA accuracy, and utilization.
• Communicate proactively with drivers, dispatch, and internal teams to address delays, service risks, and operational disruptions.
• Identify and resolve issues in real time, including service failures, breakdowns, and scheduling conflicts, to minimize impact to customers.
• Serve as the primary after-hours point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate communication and issue resolution.
• Analyze operational data and reports to support service performance, fuel efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with dispatch and planning teams to adjust schedules, recover service, and maintain customer commitments.
• Support overall operational readiness by ensuring next-day planning gaps, driver availability, and service risks are addressed prior to shift end.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
