Job summary

Werner Enterprises seeks an operations customer support specialist to maintain ongoing communication with delivery teams, clients, and customers to address and resolve issues affecting timely deliveries. The role includes updating customer portals and internal systems, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating route and load plans.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in customer service, routing/warehouse experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year customer service experience preferred.
• Routing, dispatch, and warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administrate orders received at the facility for delivery and update portals.
• Prompt scheduling of deliveries to end consumer per SOPs.
• Route outbound delivery trucks focusing on service and revenue per truck.
• Maintain shipment statuses and dispatch logs; communicate charges per SOPs.
• Maintain essential shipping documents for planning, loading and delivery processes.
• Communicate with urgency and provide solutions for schedule or delivery issues.
