Job summary

US Foods in Corona, California, is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead a safety‑driven, cost‑effective distribution operation. You will manage drivers and Transportation associates, ensure safe, accurate, and timely outbound shipments to customers and other distribution centers.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution, 1+ year of leadership, knowledge of DOT requirements, and a track record of coaching teams to meet service and safety

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
Experience as a driver a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead with a safety mindset to maintain a safety-first culture in Transportation.
Oversee and develop drivers and associates through coaching and policy training.
Discuss performance with Sr. Transportation Managers and create improvement plans.
Direct and supervise work and productivity of Drivers and clerical associates.
Ensure DOT regulations are understood and adhered to.
Identify and stop waste and improve processes for safety and efficiency.
Schedule shifts and leverage planning tools to optimize operations.
