US Foods, Inc. in Florida (Yamato area) is seeking a Manager, Transportation to lead a safety‑driven team responsible for outbound shipments and transportation operations across distribution centers.

You will coach drivers and transportation staff, enforce DOT compliance, analyze performance data, and maintain cost‑efficient service. The role emphasizes people development, strong communication, and the ability to schedule, plan, and resolve issues while maintaining high safety and service

Competenze

• Broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations, methods and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Strong understanding of DOT requirements.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Mansioni

• Lead with a safety mindset to protect drivers, customers, and the public.
• Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation staff through coaching and training.
• Review performance and develop plans to address gaps with Sr. Managers.
• Schedule shifts and ensure compliant, on-time outbound shipments.
• Drive cost efficiency and safe, legal operations across centers.
