J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Manager II to oversee driver management and scheduling for midsize fleets. The role emphasizes safe, on-time freight movement, payroll, counseling, and compliance with DOT regulations.

The position requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts and may involve travel to account locations to ensure operational success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, and/or equivalent military experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends.
• Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and safety to minimize turnover and maximize productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and on special projects related to optimizing fleet operations and profitability.
• Conduct analysis of fleet operations and profitability and present customer-specific reporting and financial analysis.
