Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team of hourly staff at a Salt Lake City location. You will direct daily driver deliveries, loading/unloading, and customer service activities in line with cost objectives.

You will manage performance, conduct coaching, and participate in hiring decisions as needed. The role emphasizes process improvement, safety, and delivering excellent customer outcomes, with shift coverage Sunday-Thursday, early morning hours and potential

Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with associates and customers.
Strong time management and organizational skills, able to work efficiently and independently.
Excellent written and oral communication; active listening is required.
Ability to problem-solve, think critically, and make decisions independently.
Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure daily tasks are executed efficiently.
Supervise drivers, loading/unloading, dispatch, and customer service operations.
Participate in hiring decisions and performance management up to written warnings.
Conduct team meetings and monitor attendance and productivity with coaching when needed.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and minimize overtime while meeting productivity targets.
