Job summary

Penske Logistics in Salt Lake City is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead drivers and hourly staff at a single location. You will direct daily tasks, ensure customer requirements are met, manage workforce scheduling, and maintain safety and cost objectives.

The role includes performance management, coaching, and participation in hiring processes, with bonus eligibility based on performance. The shift is Sunday-Thursday, 4:30 am to 1:00 pm, with flexibility during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
