Job summary

You will oversee driver training, scheduling, performance reviews, and collaboration with senior managers to meet service and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Strong knowledge of DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations for US Foods associates, customers, and drivers.
• Oversee development and coaching of drivers and Transportation staff; manage performance and training.
• Schedule shifts, monitor productivity, and maintain DOT compliance; drive cost-effective, safe operations.
• Build high-performing teams through interviewing and selecting Transportation personnel; review performance and address gaps.
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments to meet service, safety, and cost targets.
