Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience in a related industry such as Corrections or Transportation.
• Valid driver's license required; Minimum age 21.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite and strong written/verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and monitor Transportation Officers across administration, compliance, safety, and customer service.
• Communicate and align with TransCor America, LLC goals and policies.
• Guide staff in safe operation to ensure public safety and humane environment for inmates/detainees/residents.
• Ensure staff training is conducted, tracked, and timely.
• Review policies and emergency plans to stay compliant with laws and contracts.
• Communicate responsibilities and optimize staff performance.
• Maintain cost discipline through overtime management, maintenance, procurement.
• Conduct inspections and address deficiencies to meet standards.
• Attend staff meetings to ensure effective communication and operation.
• Mentor and coach staff to foster engagement and teamwork.
• Read and interpret documents and regulations; perform forms completion as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
