Job summary

TCI Transportation in Florida is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day transportation operations, support drivers, and ensure safe, efficient, dependable service.

You’ll recruit, coach, and mentor professional drivers, monitor KPIs, and drive productivity while maintaining open communication with customers.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, compliance with DOT/FMCSA/HOS, and partnership with maintenance to maximize fleet uptime.

Qualifications

• Transportation, logistics, or fleet leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and HOS regulations
• Dispatch and scheduling experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing employees
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations by overseeing dispatch activity and ensuring routes are executed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Build & Develop Your Team by recruiting, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and supporting professional drivers.
• Drive Operational Performance by monitoring KPIs, identifying opportunities, and improving productivity and service.
• Deliver for the Customer by maintaining strong communication, resolving issues, and consistently meeting customer expectations.
• Champion Safety & Compliance by ensuring adherence to DOT, FMCSA, Hours of Service, and company safety requirements.
• Keep the Fleet Moving by partnering with Maintenance to address equipment needs and maximize fleet uptime.
• Use Technology to Drive Results through systems including Samsara, McLeod, Microsoft 365, Tenstreet, and other transportation technology.
• Continuously Improve safety, productivity, driver performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational execution.
