Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to oversee safety operations and lead safety training across the division, including classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, defensive driving, and proper manifest documentation.

The role requires coordinating with operations and maintenance, reviewing incidents, and maintaining a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with client requirements and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous passenger transportation experience.
• One year accident/injury free driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong MS Office (Word & Excel) skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all departments.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be able to set priorities and exercise good judgment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors safety manuals, programs, and practices to meet operational needs.
• Fosters a consistent safety culture across locations in collaboration with operations and maintenance.
• Reviews vehicular, passenger, and employee accident/incidents to identify causes and prevent future issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
