Job summary

TransCor America is seeking an Assistant Transportation Supervisor in Cushing, OK to assist the Transportation Supervisor in coordinating and managing the Field Office and staff per state and federal laws and TransCor policies.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, safety, and efficient transportation operations, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, reporting, and staff supervision in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1 year minimum experience in Corrections, Security, Military Police, Police, Inmate/Detainee Transportation, or related.
• Preferred: Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements.
• Preferred: Supervisor/Management experience in Corrections or Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and monitor Transportation Officers in transportation operations, including administration, compliance, safety, customer service and reporting.
• Communicate and support the vision of TransCor America, LLC and align with goals.
• Guide staff to operate Field Office safely and securely for inmates, detainees and residents.
• Schedule and plan required trip activity as directed by Transportation Supervisor.
• Follow policies, procedures and emergency plans per laws, policy and contracts.
• Effectively communicate responsibilities and accountability to subordinates and motivate staff.
• Plan and conduct maintenance on equipment including restraints and vehicles as directed.
• Attend staff meetings to maintain effective communication and operational efficiency.
• Provide a positive work environment through mentoring and feedback.
