Sysco Corp. in Belleville, IL is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to support the transportation manager in supervising delivery and backhaul activities. You will train staff, enforce safety, compliance with regulations, and promote efficient customer service.

You will supervise daily operations, ensure DOT/OSHA compliance, prepare schedules, coordinate asset use, and collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve delivery issues. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in business management or supply chain.
• 2–4 years of transportation experience.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Strong English communication and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with SOPs and federal regulations.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily work and safety of transportation associates.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA and maintain logs.
• Prepare work schedules including extra shifts.
• Train new associates and cross-train existing staff.
• Coordinate asset use and repairs for delivery operations.
• Review productivity and implement efficiency improvements.
• Communicate with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve issues.
• Visit customer locations to address delivery challenges.
