Job summary

Sysco Corp. in the United States is seeking a transportation supervisor to support the delivery and backhaul operations. You will train and supervise the transportation staff, ensure adherence to safety standards, and promote regulatory compliance throughout the department.

You will analyze delivery performance, coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams, and implement efficiency improvements while maintaining a safe and compliant operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; college credit is a plus.
• 2–4 years of transportation experience and/or training.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required; regulatory training certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of transportation associates and enforces SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with DOT/OSHA and maintains accurate electronic logs.
• Manages labor hours and budgets; prepares work schedules.
• Trains new associates and cross-trains existing staff.
• Coordinates repairs and utilizes company assets for delivery.
• Reviews productivity reports and suggests efficiency improvements.
• Maintains communications with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve issues.
• Supports safety initiatives with supervisors and safety manager.
