Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; or equivalent education/experience.
• 2-4 year college degree in business management, supply chain management or similar major preferred.
• 2-4 years of transportation experience and/or training.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must be able to read/speak English sufficiently for communication and records.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of transportation associates and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT, OSHA); maintains electronic logs.
• Oversees labor hours and supplies within budget and prepares shift schedules.
• Trains new associates and cross-trains existing staff.
• Directs asset utilization and coordinates repairs with relevant departments.
• Reviews delivery productivity and implements cost-saving measures.
• Interprets and enforces company policies and procedures.
