Job summary

The Sygma Network, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Belleville, IL to support the transportation manager/director. You will supervise delivery and backhaul activities, train staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and promote efficient operations.

The role requires coordinating with warehouse and customer service, maintaining schedules, monitoring labor and budgets, and leading a team to achieve on-time deliveries while adhering to DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of transportation experience or training.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with DOT regulations training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of transportation associates.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other regulations.
• Monitor labor hours and budget for supplies.
• Prepare schedules and assist with training.
• Coordinate use of company assets for delivery.
• Review productivity and implement efficiency improvements.
• Train and orient new associates.
