Job summary

Beacon Mobility seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee all operational aspects of a multi-service, fast-paced environment. You will supervise 50+ drivers, 49+ daily routes, and 60+ vehicles from our Hudson, MA office, guiding Transportation Coordinators and Trainers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in a fast-paced setting, and strong leadership with excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations management, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive work experience in fast-paced environment with hourly staff and metrics.
• Proficient experience in Microsoft Office.
• Maintain a good driving record and support students.
• Exhibit leadership and ability to supervise teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contact to the school districts we serve.
• Interview, hire, and train new transportation coordinators/supervisors.
• Prepare monthly work schedules.
• Maintain staffing levels for drivers and monitors.
• Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing.
• Oversee the maintenance function and keep vans in readiness.
• Review and prepare billing each month.
• Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned.
