Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist on the Day Shift in Rossville, GA.

You will oversee day-to-day activities of Class A CDL drivers and company equipment, ensuring safe, efficient transportation in line with policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating pickups and deliveries, monitoring driver performance, maintaining transportation records, and collaborating with engineering to address capacity needs and service issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in management, business, logistics, transportation or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of related supervisory experience.
• Transportation or logistics industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with TMW or McLeod transportation management systems.
• Ability to maintain transportation records and analyze operational information for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers and equipment.
• Ensure safety and DOT/OSHA compliance including Hours of Service.
• Coordinate timely pickups and deliveries; monitor driver performance.
• Track KPIs: on-time service, load metrics, deadhead/bobtail reduction, and TMS accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering to address capacity needs and service issues.
• Lead coaching, performance management, and training of drivers.
• Use TMW/Samsara/PC*Miler and SSRS for reporting and documentation.
