Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or equivalent military experience
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Proven ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safety to minimize turnover
• Fill in for absent personnel and on projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability
• Train and orient drivers and staff, including system support
• Analyze fleet operations and profitability and present KPI reports
• Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments to balance equipment
• Handle payroll, counseling, accident reviews, pay issues, invoicing, and reporting
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance and safety fixes
• Resolve service issues with drivers, customers, and staff as needed
• Maintain safety culture with regular safety messages and training
• Plan loads, routes, and monitor freight to meet on-time delivery and customer requirements
