Job summary

WM seeks a Transportation Manager for our Greencastle, PA facility. The role leads 12-16 drivers and helpers, focusing on onboarding, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a field-heavy environment.

Primary duties include safety promotion, daily operations oversight, and collaboration with site leadership to hit service and safety targets. Expect varied start times and occasional on-call Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or HS diploma with relevant experience required.
• Valid driver's license required and work eligibility in the U.S.
• Preferred completion of WM Operations Manager Trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop 12-16 drivers and helpers.
• Oversee onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with site leadership to meet service goals.
• Maintain records required by DOT and other regulators.
• Support field operations and visit customer sites as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and manage schedules.
