The position demands up to 25% travel, day shifts with potential nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires CDL Class A with N endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days, plus 5 years of roadway

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in roadway maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive a state vehicle.
• CDL Class A with N endorsement or obtain within 120 days of employment.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of transportation maintenance technicians and equipment operators.
• Schedule daily work assignments and provide guidance on complex issues.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate sand, signs, and crew response.
• Inspect roads and manage materials/equipment; maintain records.
• Operate light and heavy highway equipment and perform basic repairs.
